The first mistake amateur sailors do is to rush things. Embrace new experience that you will face out at sea. Adjust, enjoy, live. What sailing teaches you the most is to learn how to be a well-adjusted individual? There is no reason to stress; Be open and allow yourself to learn from the new avenues you will face and experience along the way. Is no reason to plan sailing from A to B, the beauty lies within the trip itself, the destination is just one more place to be and if you like it that much, why not stay another day? Allow winds to take you to the next place to stay overnight and 90% of the times you will just love it! “My Way”’ crew is trained and experienced enough to come up with the ideal, adventurous onboard schedule.
Take your time to wake up, you are on vacation. Time is irrelevant here. Your hostess will adjust breakfast time to your liking and while you roll into bed, your hostess will be shopping for fresh veggies, bread and fruit to prepare your breakfast. Eat in peace, enjoy the morning breeze, and enjoy the aromas and allow our hostess to dazzle you with her gastronomy skills. Once you are fill and satisfied, take yourself for a swim in the glorious turquoise seas or on a walk to explore your new stunning surroundings or whatever it is you feel like doing on your sailing vaction.
Fresh salads and cold plates will be waiting for you once you get out of the sea. You set sail again heading to your destination for the night. Once there, you can have enjoy one more swim for the day swim or a soothing shower, dress up and hit the road to discover new small hidden treasures of Greece.
While you take a stroll into the island, village or city your crew will be cleaning and tidying the cockpit or desalting the deck. You are free to decide the tavern of your preference or the crew will gladly point out a few cool spots based on your taste.
Dinner out with the crew of “My Way” is not a necessity or obligation. Instead, the crew will use this time off to allow time for you to bond with your family, friends or business partners. They will always be somewhere around, enough to take care of the boat and you but not enough to tire you.
After a nice dinner out, the night is still young and usually no-one wants to leave the nice cool temperature evenings to head back to the cabin. Bars and café places are plentiful and so inviting that you can hardly resist. Be careful though, hangovers are a possible side effect because a “small” beer or a “small” ouzo is not going to happen here.
Enjoy and stay hydrated! Ionian Breeze and the crew of “MY WAY” will do the rest!
